Our mission is to promote and support the integrity and diversity of the teaching of yoga. We do this through:

• Celebrating the diversity of yoga styles, traditions and lineages;
• Advocating for self-regulation in the yoga industry and universal access to safe yoga practices;
• Upholding the National growth of yoga through education and community;
• Educating the public on the value and credibility of voluntary registration with SYF Registry;
• Encouraging safe yoga instructions by promoting adoption of SYF Registry’s quantitative Standards;
• Inspiring members to foster an informal Yoga Community by providing fair and full feedback to Registered Yoga Schools, which fosters accountability and continual improvement;
• Guiding yoga teachers and schools in achieving success with conscious and effective business practices;
• Serving the member community by supporting scholarship programs, providing benefits, and developing strategic alliances;
• SYF supports the Singapore Yoga Sports Federation (SYSF) in regulating and promoting Yoga Sports activities and Championships in Singapore Yoga Community as its a great development for yoga education in a sporting way;
• SYF supports and work together with Singapore Yoga Therapists Association (SYTA) to regulates Yoga Therapist educations, standards, practices, regulations and researches in the field of Yoga Therapy national wide as this bringing a great development in the field of yoga;
• SYF supports and encourage Singapore Community through different non profit yoga programmes/ activities/ events to practice yoga and stay in healthy life styles;
